Parliamentarian N. Batbayar introduced to the electors his bill “Development of Mongolia” that aims to increase families’ incomes in the country’s rural communities by trying to boost the rural economy.

In accordance with the draft law, all herdsmen will develop cooperatives, provide their livestock with earrings, insure them and have them undergo regular medical examinations and they will have the responsibility to delivery milk, meat and livestock to abattoirs and collection points.

By reducing herdsmen’s expenditures and overcoming other technical difficulties, the draft law is hoped to increase their income. Moreover, factories will have an opportunity to receive raw materials in large quantities directly from centralized points instead of middlemen.
