BEIJING, Mar. 2, 2010 (Xinhua News  Agency) -- Electricity price reform is hopefully to make breakthrough in Inner Mongolia. The multilateral electricity trading  market in Inner Mongolia, which suspended trading since March of 2009, recently has been restarted.

According to related regulations, three chemical entities involved in the multilateral electricity trade would buy electricity directly from power plants, and the electricity price would be adjusted in time in accordance with coal price, raw materials price and power load.

The directly purchased electricity price would be 0.03-0.06 yuan/kwh lower than average price, which would help power consumer save 22.5-45 million yuan of power consumption cost . (Edited by Li Xiaohui, lixh@xinhua.org)
